M. Ali was born and raised in Washington DC but has lived all over the country including Columbus OH, Long Island NY, Santa Rosa & San Diego CA, Pittsburgh PA, Fort Washington MD & Herndon VA. He has been writing & making music for about 15 years. It is his greatest passion next to God & his daughter. Having graduated high school at 15 and attended college at 16, Mr. Ali began his professional journey in life very early on. Soon after, he started taking his writing and music making more seriously. By the time he was 18 he was traveling the country, meeting new people and discovering new artistic cultures. M. Ali has lived in Washington DC, Fort Washington MD, Reston VA, Columbus Ohio, Long Island NY, Santa Rosa & San Diego California and Pittsburgh PA. By age 22, he was writing songs for other artists. By 24, he owned his own entertainment company, Wood Works Entertainment. Shortly after came Reality Spin Publishing through ASCAP.
